Since 1977, IMAF Nederland has been the premier platform connecting traditional Eastern budo and martial arts in the Netherlands. Their mission is to unite martial arts practitioners, strengthen technical skills, and support dojo growth through organizing national and international events, seminars, and training sessions led by recognized masters and expert instructors.
IMAF Nederland is open to practitioners of various martial arts disciplines, including traditonal judo, aikibudo, karate-jutsu, Nihon ju-jutsu, and aiki-jutsu. The organization emphasizes inclusivity, personal development, and professionalization through courses on didactics, methodology, and instructional techniques, as well as workshops and seminars featuring international experts.

– Youth (up to 13 years): €15
– Juniors (13–18 years): €25
– Adults (from 18 years): €30
– One-time registration fee (including budopassport): €10
– Annual seat fee per dojo only: €50

– Kodokan Go Kyo no Waza workshop in Zoetermeer by former judo federation coach Willem Visser (9th dan), followed by a complimentary reception.
– Official NOC-NSF teacher recognitions.
– “Budo on Tour” events in multiple locations, including Arnhem, Huizen, Volendam and Doesburg.
– Veterans’ training sessions in Ede and Oud-Beijerland.
– Youth judo competitions and Dan examination training sessions.
– Seminars on specific budo disciplines in Emmeloord and Amstelveen.
– National budo day showcasing multiple budo disciplines.
